First Look Inside the Upcoming ERJ Family 2.0
We’re excited to share the very first look at the new ERJ Family 2.0 cockpit!
The original ERJ Family already set a high bar for visuals in X-Plane 11, but with everything we’ve learned while developing the E-Jets Family, we’re now pushing the textures and detail to an entirely new level for ERJ fans.
Even better: despite the much higher resolution textures, performance impact is almost negligible thanks to the new optimization techniques we perfected while building the Lineage 1000.
This sneak peek also introduces our completely reworked avionics suite, which features:
High-resolution displays with a new, accurate moving map
Completely redesigned PFDs and MFDs that match real-world avionics
A brand-new EFB tailored for the ERJs
The authentic FMS, making its ERJ debut
For maximum usability, both FMS units can be popped out in 2D panels or even dragged outside the simulator onto another monitor.
The ERJ Family 2.0 is already undergoing rigorous testing with our team of pilots and beta testers, who are helping us refine the systems and ensure the highest level of realism. If all goes as planned, we’re on track for release later this year.
